Understanding Our Differences has a new date for our Wonder book reading event with author R.J. Palacio: Thursday, November 29th at Newton South High School Auditorium from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  This evening will consist of a book reading and conversation with R.J. Palacio, author of Wonder, The New York Times bestselling novel about the coming together of an extraordinary boy with a disability and his school community.  This event will be moderated by Brian O’Donovan, WGBH producer and host.  Elementary school students (especially 3rd grade+) and older welcome with an adult.  The interest in this event is enormous, and therefore advance registration is now required for everyone and opportunities to walk-in will be very limited.

TO REGISTER: Simply click here to go to the Wonder tab on our website and complete your free event registration. Be sure to register everyone who will be accompanying you.

Before and after the reading and conversation for there will be the opportunity to purchase the book, have it signed (after), participate in UOD activities, enjoy a raffle and bake sale (proceeds to benefit Understanding Our Differences).
